Kitchen Porter (Central Production Unit, Rumney CF3)

Our Kitchen Team are responsible for preparing a range of fresh food products (meeting the provided brief and standards) to our stores.

Our Kitchen Porter is a key role - helping to assist the production and bakery teams, keeping the work environment organised and clean to allow the production schedules to be met.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain high levels of food safety and compliance

• Follow health and safety guidelines

• Complete all relevant paperwork

• Washing dirty dishes

• Cleaning and maintaining equipment

• Supporting with basic food preparation

• Maintaining the food storage areas (including fridges and freezers) to ensure everything is organised

• Helping to clean the kitchen area at the end of each shift to ensure that it is ready for the following day

• Assist with the laundry process

• Providing assistance to the production manager as needed
