Electrical (Cx) Engineer

Our client, a key player in the data centre sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical (Cx) Engineer for a contract role. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industrial projects where your expertise in switchgear, UPS systems, and generators will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical engineering tasks for data centre projects
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and project requirements
• Upgrade and maintain firmware on electrical systems
• Manage circuit breaker installations and maintenance
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver project outcomes
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical engineering within industrial projects, preferably in the data centre sector
• Extensive knowledge of switchgear systems
• Experience with UPS systems and generators
• Solid understanding of circuit breakers
• Experience upgrading firmware on electrical devices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Relevant electrical engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
