Machine Learning Engineer job in Cambridge | Salary: £60,000-£120,000
Hexwired has partnered with an innovative technology company developing advanced AI and machine learning solutions for complex, real-world applications. They are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team in Cambridge working on cutting-edge machine learning projects from concept through to deployment.
The Role:
- Research and develop innovative AI/ML solutions for challenging technical problems.
- Design, train and evaluate machine learning models across a variety of applications.
- Rapidly prototype, test and optimise new ideas.
- Analyse research papers and apply the latest ML techniques.
- Design experiments, interpret results and present technical findings.
Key Skills required for this Machine Learning Engineer role:
- Strong degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related STEM subject.
- Commercial or research experience in Machine Learning (industry, PhD, MSc or personal projects).
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with one or more ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras or JAX.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
