Software Project Coordinator
Salary: £45,000
Location: Portsmouth - hybrid (one day per week on-site and 4 days from home)
Reports to: Director of Software Development

A growing and exciting SaaS business with big plans. As they scale, engineering and product need to move in step, and they’re creating a brand-new role to make that happen.
The role
This is a new position and a real opportunity to make it your own. As Software Project Coordinator, you’ll be the glue between software development, product and architecture, keeping work flowing, surfacing problems early and making sure the right people are talking at the right time.
You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers and architects, with real visibility and influence across the business from day one.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and facilitate delivery across engineering and product teams
- Keep work visible, organised and on track in Jira
- Spot blockers early and help clear them, escalating appropriately when needed
- Influence and align people without relying on formal authority
- Manage stakeholders with confidence, keeping everyone informed and expectations clear
- Help shape the processes and ways of working that support the company’s growth
About you
Some skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:
- Strong, hands-on Jira knowledge
- Solid experience in Agile Delivery Coordination, PMO Analysis, Technical Project Coordination, or similar roles in software, technology, or SaaS environments
- A clear, enthusiastic communicator who builds good relationships quickly
- Confident facilitating work, managing stakeholders and holding your own in a room of engineers and product people
- Proactive, organised and comfortable making a role your own
Salary and what’s in it for you…
Salary for this role is £45,000 and it’s hybrid, with once a week in their office just outside of Portsmouth.
You’ll be a pivotal hire for this organisation and will play an extremely important role of helping engineering scale and will ensure Agile initiatives are visible and effectively tracked.
