Responsibilities within your new role as Kitchen Assistant
You’ll support the chef with food preparation, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen. Food safety will always be a priority, and you’ll work closely with your team to ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your work will directly support chefs and kitchen teams, ensuring that residents and students receive quality meals.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
We’re seeking candidates who have 6-12 months of experience in a similar role, ideally within care homes or educational settings. A valid PVG or Disclosure is required, which you should currently hold or be willing to obtain. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a passion for service excellence are essential. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards and will manage tasks effectively, even under pressure.
