Senior Care Assistant

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for day shifts in a London residential care setting. You will provide hands-on support to residents while helping coordinate colleagues, care plans, medication and risk-management activity. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced care professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and supervise colleagues during the shift.
• Assist residents with daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Support the delivery and review of individual care plans.
• Administer and record medication where trained and authorised.
• Carry out risk assessments and report changes in residents’ needs.
• Liaise appropriately with families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, professional and person-centred care environment.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in adult social care.
• Good understanding of care planning.
• Ability to support and guide colleagues.
• Strong communication, organisation and IT skills.
• Medication experience or willingness to undertake required training.
• Compassionate and dependable approach.

Qualifications Required

• Relevant care qualification or equivalent experience.

Desirable Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous senior care or shift-leading experience.
