Commercial Heating Engineer
Commercial Heating Engineer. A Newbury, Berkshire commercial HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation firm are looking for a Commercial Heating Engineer to join the team.
The Commercial Heating Engineer salary is £50-55k plus profit related bonus, on call rota, pension, sick, life assurance, all tools, company vehicle with private mileage after probation, manufacturer training and more.
The Commercial Heating Engineer responsibilities include:
- Servicing and maintaining commercial gas boilers and heating systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing heating faults and completing repairs
- Responding to reactive breakdowns and emergency callouts
- Inspecting and maintaining commercial plant rooms
- Servicing pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels and associated equipment
- Diagnosing circulation, pressure and temperature problems
- Fault finding on heating controls, valves and distribution systems
- Identifying and completing remedial works
- Undertaking heating system upgrades and minor installation works
- Completing accurate service reports, maintenance records and compliance documentation
- Working safely and in accordance with relevant regulations
- Delivering professional, helpful customer service
The Commercial Heating Engineer will need:
- Proven experience in commercial heating servicing, maintenance and repair
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
- Current relevant commercial gas qualifications and Gas Safe competencies
- Experience maintaining commercial boilers and associated plant
- Good knowledge of commercial heating controls and distribution systems
- Experience with pump, valves and pressurisation equipment
- Additional mechanical or HVAC qualifications beneficial
- Electrical fault-finding knowledge advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work on own or in team
- Health and safety awareness
- Able to use digital job management systems
The Commercial Heating Engineer salary is £50-55k plus profit related bonus, on call rota, pension, sick, life assurance, all tools, company vehicle with private mileage after probation, manufacturer training and more.
Hours of work are 8-5pm Monday to Friday covering Berkshire, surrounding and M4 corridor
