Hours: 39 hours per week (Typically 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM Monday to Thursday, and 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM Friday; exact times may vary)

About the Role

As a Site Services Operative in Supplies & Distribution, you will play a crucial role in maintaining day-to-day hygiene operations across the manufacturing and distribution facility. You will ensure products are prepared in the cleanest, safest, and most hygienic environment possible.

This hands-on role involves using a variety of cleaning equipment and chemical agents across diverse site tasks. Please note that working in a food production environment means you may be exposed to flour/dust and will occasionally work in chilled or frozen areas. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Hygiene Operations: Maintain cleanliness across the facility, including tray washing, laundry maintenance, waste disposal, and recycling.

• Facilities Maintenance: Ensure staff canteens, break rooms, and external site grounds remain clean, presentable, and hygienic.

• Safety & Compliance: Use cleaning chemicals and specialized equipment safely in full alignment with health, safety, and food safety standards.

• Process Execution: Consistently follow site processes, health and safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Work Experience: Experience working in a busy factory, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred.

• Safety & Standards: Basic understanding of health and safety practices and a strong ability to follow established processes and instructions.

• Physical Capability: Comfortable standing for long periods, carrying out manual cleaning tasks, and performing lifting and carrying activities.

• Flexibility & Reliability: Dependable, enthusiastic, and comfortable working nightshifts and late shifts as required by the rota.
