Finance Manager

Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Finance Manager for a respected organisation, offering full ownership of monthly management accounts, audit liaison and responsibility for fixed assets and VAT. This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll take charge of core reporting and strengthen financial control across the business.

The Role

You’ll lead the full monthly management accounts process end‑to‑end, producing accurate, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders. You’ll act as the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring the business is fully prepared and audit‑ready. Alongside this, you’ll manage the fixed asset register and oversee VAT returns and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce full monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and commentary.
• Act as the primary audit contact, preparing schedules and resolving queries.
• Maintain and control the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Manage VAT returns, reconciliations and compliance.
• Strengthen financial controls and drive improvements across month‑end processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial insight.

About You

• Strong experience producing end‑to‑end management accounts.
• Confident managing external audit relationships.
• Solid understanding of fixed assets and VAT.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, improvement‑focused mindset.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
