Finance Analyst

As a Finance Analyst in Hemel Hempstead, you will help the Accounting & Finance team keep financial information clear, accurate and useful for day-to-day decisions in the Business Services industry. You will review financial data, prepare analysis and provide reporting that helps the business plan and track performance.

Description

• Review financial data to identify clear trends, variances and areas that need further attention.
• Prepare regular financial reports that give colleagues a reliable view of performance.
• Analyse income, costs and key financial movements to support informed business decisions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and check data quality before reporting is shared.
• Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to gather information and resolve data queries.
• Present financial findings in a clear format for relevant stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing timely analysis and data.
• Improve reporting processes where practical, helping information remain consistent and easy to use.

Profile

A successful 'Finance Analyst' should have:

• Experience producing financial analysis and management reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial data, trends and variances accurately.
• Strong numerical skills and careful attention to detail when reviewing information.
• Confidence working with financial systems and spreadsheets to manage data.
• Ability to prepare clear, well-structured reports for a range of stakeholders.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activity.
