Handyperson - Hospital Facilities Management
Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Handyperson to join a leading Facilities Management (FM) service provider, working within a hospital environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for patients, visitors and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and basic handyman duties across the hospital site.
- Respond to maintenance requests and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Undertake minor repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) where required.
- Identify and report any defects, hazards or maintenance issues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and hospital requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any outstanding issues.
- Work collaboratively with the wider facilities and maintenance team to support the smooth running of the site.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance or facilities role.
- Good practical skills and the ability to carry out a range of general repairs.
- Relevant qualifications or certificates, where applicable.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
-Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
-The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, flexible and proactive attitude, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working within a hospital, healthcare or other regulated environment would be advantageous.
