Position: Site Office Cleaner
Job Type: Part-time 
Long Term contract till Dec 2027

 
Job Purpose
 
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the temporary site office, meeting rooms, and welfare facilities. The role is critical in controlling the high levels of dust, mud, and foot traffic common to active operational and construction sites.

 
Responsibilities
 
 

• Empty all office, bins daily;
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all hard flooring and carpeted areas
• Disinfect desks, door handles, light switches, keyboards, and phones.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock essential consumables (toilet roll, hand towels, soap).
• Wipe down food preparation surfaces, appliances (microwave, fridge exterior), and tables; wash up any communal cutlery or mugs.

• Dust high ledges, window sills, ventilation grilles, and the tops of filing cabinets where fine dust settles.
• Clean internal glass partitions and entry door glazing to maintain a professional appearance.
• Monitor cleaning chemical levels and welfare supplies, reporting shortages to the Site Manager in advance.

• Adhere strictly to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues, slips/trips hazards, or faulty equipment to site management
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as dictated by site rules (e.g., steel-toe boots, hi-vis vest, gloves).
• Adheare to H&S (Health & Safety) rules and regulations whilst on site
