Senior Finance Manager

As a Senior Finance Manager in London, you will oversee core finance activity and you will be involved in the ERP implementation.

Description

• Lead and support the successful delivery of a major ERP transformation programme, from design and testing through to go-live and business adoption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across government departments to align processes, accounting policies, and drive effective decision-making.
• Provide expert technical accounting advice in line with IFRS, HM Treasury FReM, Managing Public Money, and wider public sector guidance.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activity in line with business needs.
• Maintain strong financial controls across Accounting & Finance processes.
• Work with colleagues to improve finance processes and strengthen reporting quality.

Profile

A successful 'Senior Finance Manager' will have:

• Experience managing ERP transformation and implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of government finance budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring.
• Ability to review financial data and explain findings clearly.
• Experience maintaining effective financial controls and accurate records.
• Confidence working across an Accounting & Finance function.
• Ability to improve finance processes and resolve financial issues.

Job Offer

• Temporary contract.
• Daily rate of £660, dependent on the level of experience.
• Location: London.
