Account Executive

What would you do if you were handed a £250k commercial book - and then given the opportunity to grow it?

There's an opportunity in Perth for an ambitious Account Executive to take ownership of an established commercial book while having the freedom to build their own network and new business pipeline.

The existing book is worth around £250,000, giving you a strong platform to start from rather than having to build everything from scratch.

But this role isn't about simply servicing a book.
The focus is on growth.
You'll be expected to look after the existing clients, develop relationships, bring in your own network and identify new opportunities across the Northern market and Scotland.

The book covers a broad mix of commercial insurance, with clients across sectors including construction, retail, leisure and more.
You'll have the opportunity to:

• Take ownership of an established £250k commercial book
• Develop and strengthen existing client relationships
• Bring your own network into the business
• Generate new business and build your own pipeline
• Network across the Northern market and Scotland
• Identify opportunities to grow the book
• Work as part of an experienced team of Account Executives
• Develop your career and earning potential alongside the growth of your book

There is a clear growth opportunity here, with the longer-term expectation for the right candidate to take the book towards £400k over three years.

This could suit an experienced Account Executive who already has a network and wants a platform to grow from.
Equally, they're open to an exceptional Account Handler ready to make the move into an Account Executive role, or someone early in their Executive career who has the drive to develop.
Personality is important.

They're looking for someone who is outgoing, commercially minded and confident. Someone who enjoys getting out there, networking, having conversations and creating opportunities.

You don't need to have everything already - but you do need the drive and ambition to build it.

Salary is flexible depending on experience, with opportunities from the low £50,000s for those starting out, through to the low £60,000s+ for more experienced candidates, with car allowance available at senior level.
