Responsibilities in your new role as Event Waiting Staff
As Event Waiting Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving food and beverages efficiently with a friendly, professional approach
- Taking customer orders accurately and providing knowledgeable menu recommendations
- Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience
- Processing payments accurately and handling transactions efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the event
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety, and alcohol licensing regulations
- Working closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Adhering to client standards and specific event requirements at all times
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We're looking for people who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a waiting, bar, or front-of-house role
- A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for hospitality
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy event environment
- A good command of English to communicate confidently with guests and colleagues
- A reliable, professional, and team-focused approach
- The flexibility to adapt to different venues and event requirements
