Vehicle Service Technician Location: Grays, Essex Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Recruitment Agency: Revved Up Recruitment About the Role Revved Up Recruitment is working with a client in Grays who is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Service Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in routine servicing, general mechanical repairs and MOT repair work. The successful candidate will be confident identifying faults, carrying out necessary repairs and maintaining high standards of workmanship. Key Responsibilities * Carry out routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance. * Complete oil changes, filter replacements and general service work. * Carry out MOT repairs and rectify faults identified during MOT inspections. * Undertake brake, suspension, steering and exhaust repairs. * Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements. * Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out appropriate repairs. * Replace worn or defective vehicle components. * Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. * Maintain accurate service records and follow workshop procedures. * Keep the workshop clean, tidy and organised. Requirements * Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Motor Mechanic. * Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing and routine maintenance. * Experience carrying out MOT repairs and general mechanical work. * Ability to identify faults and complete repairs efficiently. * Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. * Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant automotive qualifications are desirable. Salary and Working Hours Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. * Monday to Saturday: 8:30am – 5:30pm Full-time, permanent position.
