About the role
HGV Class 2 Driver – Avonmouth / Severn Beach 24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client in Avonmouth , Severn Beach.
This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with one of the UK's leading companies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience – essential
- Valid Class 2 / C licence
- Maximum 6 points on licence
- No DD, DR, TT or IN endorsements
- Valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Flexibility to work on different contracts, including store deliveries, trunking and collections
- Successful completion of an assessment and 3-day induction
- Induction is paid
Shift Patterns:
- Any 5 out of 7
- 4 on / 4 off
- 5 on / 2 off
- Sunday to Thursday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Weekends only
Shift Times:
- Days: start times between 03:00–08:00
- Nights: start times between 17:00–21:00
Pay – PAYE Dynamic Rates:
- Weekdays: £19.23 per hour
- Weekends: £24.04 per hour
- Night rate (21:00–02:59): £21.54 per hour
- 8 hours guaranteed per day
