Our well respected high end retail client in Christchurch is looking for a motivated Retail Sales Advisor to join their successful showroom team. Working within a beautifully presented showroom, you will guide customers through a wide range of premium products, offering expert advice and recommendations to help them make informed purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Advisor, you will:

• Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional shopping experience
• Identify customer needs through effective questioning and product discovery
• Offer expert product advice and recommend suitable solutions
• Promote current in-store offers and sales campaigns
• Maximise sales opportunities through upselling and cross-selling
• Generate and manage customer leads using the CRM system
• Follow up enquiries to maximise conversion rates and customer satisfaction
• Communicate with customers face-to-face, by phone, email, and digital channels
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and card transactions
• Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets

Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in retail sales, showroom sales, customer service, or a similar customer-facing role
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence working towards sales targets and KPIs
• A proactive and self-motivated approach
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Word, and Excel
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
