About the role
London | Hybrid Working | Permanent
I'm partnering with a high-growth consumer brand to find a hands-on DTC Growth Manager who can turn an underdeveloped ecommerce channel into a meaningful revenue driver.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, fast-growing business at an exciting stage of its journey. With a strong brand, an established customer base and significant untapped online potential, the business is looking for someone who can build, test and scale its direct-to-consumer operation.
The OpportunityThis is a genuine build-from-scratch role. You'll own the DTC channel end to end, combining growth strategy with hands-on execution across paid acquisition, ecommerce optimisation and customer retention.
You'll have the autonomy to shape the roadmap, manage investment and work closely with brand and operations teams to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Paid acquisition: Plan, launch and optimise campaigns across Meta and Google, managing budgets against CAC, ROAS and revenue targets.
- DTC growth: Own the ecommerce roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, average order value and overall channel performance.
- Shopify & CRO: Manage the onsite customer journey, merchandising, landing pages and structured testing to improve conversion.
- CRM & retention: Develop email marketing, lifecycle automation and segmentation to increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
- Performance analytics: Own reporting across the funnel, using data to make informed decisions on spend, acquisition and profitability.
- Creative testing: Partner with the brand team to brief and test creative that balances brand identity with commercial performance.
- Commercial operations: Work with operations to ensure stock, fulfilment, delivery and margins support the customer proposition.
- Channel development: Identify and test new opportunities to accelerate DTC growth.
- 3+ years' experience across DTC ecommerce, growth marketing or performance marketing.
- Proven, hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns, particularly across Meta and Google.
- Experience with Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform.
- A strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, conversion, AOV, retention and customer lifetime value.
- Experience with analytics, tracking and CRM tools such as GA4 and Klaviyo.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of ecommerce unit economics and profitability.
- An entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, analytical, resourceful and comfortable building without an established playbook.
- Someone who enjoys both setting direction and getting into the detail to make things happen.
Experience within a fast-growing consumer brand is highly desirable. You don't need to have worked in the same product category, but you must understand how to grow a DTC business commercially.
Why Consider It?- The opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential DTC channel.
- Direct influence over growth strategy, investment and commercial outcomes.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with room to shape the role.
- The chance to make a measurable impact within an ambitious consumer business.
