The Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Assist with planned activities and play-based learning
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times

Requirements

• Level 3 Childcare or Early Years Qualification (preferred for many placements)
• A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is advantageous
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
