HGV Class 2 ADR Driver – Warrington – £17.50 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Warrington and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced ADR drivers looking for stability, excellent earning potential and long-term career progression. £17.50 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 7:00am Starts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Full Training | Immediate Starts This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, ADR Driver, Tanker Driver or Distribution Driver. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 7:00am start time Rates of Pay • £17.50 per hour • PAYE, with holiday pay accrued separately • Weekly pay Benefits As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will receive: • £17.50 hourly rate • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • Full training and ongoing support • Staff canteen • Free on-site parking • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, your duties will include: • Safely operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations • Transporting packed ADR consignments and completing low-pressure discharge deliveries • Completing loading and unloading tasks safely and accurately • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects to management • Adhering to road traffic laws and driver compliance requirements • Maintaining accurate delivery records • Using electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems during shifts rather than paper records • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category C driving licence • Valid Driver CPC qualification card • Valid Digital Tachograph Card • Valid ADR Certificate • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No IN, DR, DD or CD driving offence codes • Good understanding of road safety and driver compliance • Good communication and customer service skills • Ability to use electronic POD systems • Reliable, professional and punctual approach Desirable Experience • Previous experience completing ADR deliveries • Two years of previous HGV Class 2 driving experience • Experience working within the transport and logistics sector • Good customer interaction and service skills Training Provided • Full industry-related training • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver looking for ongoing work in Warrington, offering £17.50 per hour, Monday-to-Friday working and 7:00am starts, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch with suitable candidates.
