We are working with an established organisation looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the transformation of its existing testing capability into a modern Quality Engineering function. This is an opportunity for someone to take ownership of the QA strategy, introduce new frameworks and standards, and drive a shift towards a more proactive, automation-led approach to quality across technology delivery.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
- Proven experience leading Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering functions, with a track record of developing and implementing QA strategies, frameworks and governance standards across complex technology environments.
- Experience driving QA transformation initiatives, moving away from traditional testing approaches towards Quality Engineering, shift-left testing, automation and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of modern testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, Agile, DevOps and CI/CD practices, with the ability to embed quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Experience managing outsourced testing partners and third-party suppliers, overseeing service delivery, performance, resource planning and quality standards across multiple projects and programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and governance experience, with the ability to influence senior leadership, establish quality metrics and ensure projects meet operational readiness and service transition requirements.
