We're working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the BS4 area that is looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Class Teaching Assistant to join their team from January.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
• Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences
• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement
• Assisting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
• Helping to create a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

A Bit About You

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting is desirable
• Confident supporting children across the primary age range
• Patient, calm and encouraging in your approach
• Friendly, approachable and reliable
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Proactive and willing to use your initiative
• Understanding of SEND and individual learning needs is beneficial
• Passionate about helping children succeed

What We Need to Clear You

• Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address
• CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any explained gaps
• References covering the last 2 years (including childcare references where applicable)
• Overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more in the past 5 years
