About the role
Prospero Teaching are seeking a reliable and hardworking Handyman / Site Assistant to support a school site team in Norwich on a temporary basis for 6 weeks, starting in November. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance, caretaking, or site support experience who enjoys working in a school environment and takes pride in keeping facilities safe, secure, and well-maintained.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day maintenance, site upkeep, basic repairs, and general facilities support, helping to ensure the smooth running of the school.

- Duration - 6 Weeks
- Full time/part-time - Full Time
- Rate of pay - £140-£155 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours - Monday to Friday, school hours
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a handyman, caretaker, maintenance, facilities, or site assistant role
- Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Experience working within a school environment is desirable but not essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional references
