Despatch Operative - Night Shift

Great opportunity to work as a Despatch Operative for our client, one of the UK's best-known bakery brands, producing a wide range of bread and bakery products which are distributed to customers and retailers across the UK.

Staffline is recruiting Despatch Operatives in Avonmouth, Bristol.

The rate of pay is £15.79 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:
- 6pm to 3am

Your Time at Work

As a Despatch Operative you will be responsible for:

- Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading products onto vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems to ensure order accuracy.
- Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Working as part of the despatch team to ensure products are ready for delivery on time.

Please note that this role involves standing and walking for long periods.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be physically fit and able to do regular lifting, carrying and moving of bakery products and trays. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Skills we are looking for:

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
