About the role
Lead Shift Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing
Rotherham | £55,000 - £65,000 | 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

The Role:
- Find and fix the root cause of repeat breakdowns, planning long-term fixes instead of reacting to them
- Lead continuous improvement and planning, and check the quality of PPMs and engineering work
- Work alongside the shift supervisors and Maintenance Manager, and improve handovers between shifts
- Mostly off the tools, hands-on only for support or to investigate long-term issues
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong engineering background as a maintenance engineer, electrical or mechanical bias
- Experience in continuous improvement, planning or root cause analysis
- Heavy industry background advantageous
