We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Optical Assistant who enjoys working with people and delivering an excellent patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting and greeting patients, providing a warm and welcoming service.
• Assisting patients with frame selection and spectacle dispensing.
• Advising on suitable frames and lenses to meet individual needs.
• Taking accurate measurements and ensuring spectacles fit comfortably.
• Carrying out pre-screening and clinical support duties, where trained.
• Assisting with spectacle collections, adjustments and repairs.
• Supporting the Optometrist and wider team with the smooth running of the practice.
• Carrying out general administrative duties.

Previous optical experience is essential. You'll have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping patients.
