Lunaria Recruitment is delighted to be working with an optical practice in Wandsworth to recruit an enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join their team.
Located in South West London, Wandsworth offers a fantastic mix of high-street shopping, independent cafés, restaurants and green spaces. With excellent transport links and the popular Southside Shopping Centre nearby, it’s a great location for anyone looking to develop their optical career in a vibrant part of London.
The RoleWe’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Optical Assistant who enjoys helping people and delivering an excellent patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a warm and welcoming service.
- Assisting with frame selection and spectacle dispensing.
- Advising patients on suitable eyewear to meet their needs.
- Taking accurate measurements and ensuring spectacles fit comfortably.
- Carrying out pre-screening and clinical support duties, where trained.
- Assisting with spectacle collections, adjustments and repairs.
- Supporting the Optometrist and wider team with the smooth running of the practice.
- Carrying out general administrative duties.
