Your Role and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but may not be limited to:
- Support the preparation and development of architectural drawings and technical documentation.
- Produce and amend technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Assist with the development of designs from concept through to detailed technical stages.
- Work closely with architects, technicians, engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure drawings and technical documentation meet relevant standards, regulations and project requirements.
- Update drawings and documentation in response to project changes, feedback and technical requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of specifications, schedules and other project documentation.
- Review drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
- Provide general technical and project support to the wider team.
- Develop your understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations and technical detailing.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects while continuing to develop your technical and professional skills.
- A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Some knowledge or experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- A genuine interest in architectural design, technical drawing and construction.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career within the architectural and technical design sector.
