Driver Hire Nottingham & Mansfield are currently recruiting for 3 Class 2 HGV Drivers to join one of our valued clients based in the NG11 area of Nottingham.

Our client is expanding their fleet and looking for reliable, experienced drivers to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting laundry products, working on a 4 on, 2 off rota with 12:30pm starts.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly.
• Delivering and collecting laundry products from customer locations.
• Loading and unloading cages, with some manual handling involved.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and professionally.
• Completing all relevant vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Following all road safety procedures and client policies.

Please note: All vehicles are fitted with driver-facing cameras.

Pay and Benefits

• Agency assignment rates starting from £17.75 per hour.
• Daily overtime paid after 10 hours.
• Ongoing work with a 4 on, 2 off rota.
• 12:30pm start times.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential to join the client permanently.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid digital tachograph card.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A reliable, professional approach to work.
• The ability to undertake cage work and some manual handling.
