This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in an accounts or finance environment who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and ambitious organisation.
You'll work with industry-standard accounting software, including Xero, and liaise with colleagues, suppliers and customers to help maintain efficient day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with VAT returns
- Support the wider Finance team with general administrative duties
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and other duties as required by the Finance Manager and Directors
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant who takes pride in producing accurate work and can manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working within an accounts or finance department
- Experience using Xero or similar online accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- A self-motivated and proactive approach
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Enhanced pension contributions
- Six-monthly performance bonuses
- Private medical insurance
- Health and wellbeing programme
- Regular team social events
- Employee recognition and reward schemes
- Free on-site parking
- Casual dress code
- Professional development and training opportunities
You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution is valued. This is an opportunity to become an important part of a growing Finance function, with the scope to develop your skills and take on additional responsibilities over time.
