Air Freight Pricing Coordinator

Position: Air Freight Pricing Coordinator Location: Heathrow (LHR) Salary: 32,000 – 35,000 + Pricing Incentives Working Arrangement: Full–time, office–based The Opportunity Are you an experienced air freight professional looking to develop your career in pricing? We're working with an established freight forwarding business at Heathrow that is looking to recruit an Air Freight Pricing Coordinator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in air freight pricing or operations who wants to build on their experience within a commercially focused role. The business is looking for someone who can become a valued member of the team, bringing strong air freight knowledge, attention to detail and a proactive approach to customer pricing. You'll play an important role in supporting the wider operation, helping deliver competitive quotations and maintaining strong relationships with airlines, agents and customers. With a salary of 32,000– 35,000 plus pricing incentives, this is a great opportunity to join a busy freight forwarding environment where your contribution will make a real difference. The Role Working within the air freight team, you'll help manage pricing enquiries and ensure customers receive accurate, competitive quotations in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include: Handling day–to–day air freight pricing enquiries and preparing customer quotations.Obtaining and negotiating rates with airlines, overseas agents and other suppliers.Supporting the wider team with air freight operational and pricing requirements.Reviewing rates to ensure quotations remain competitive and commercially viable.Building and maintaining relationships with airlines, agents, customers and internal colleagues.Ensuring pricing information is accurate and kept up to date.Assisting with customer rate cards and tender submissions where required.Working closely with the operations and sales teams to support customer requirements and new business opportunities.Providing a responsive, reliable service and helping resolve pricing queries efficiently. About You We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of air freight who is keen to contribute to a successful team. Ideally, you'll have: At least 3 years' experience in air freight, within pricing, operations or a combination of both.A good understanding of air freight rates, airline services and international air cargo movements.Experience obtaining rates and preparing accurate customer quotations.Strong communication and relationship–building skills.Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.A proactive, commercially minded approach to problem–solving.The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.WR Logistics are a leading recruitment partner for the logistics and supply chain industry, recruiting across the UK, Europe, and the USA for permanent opportunities.
