Electrician needed in South West London Join our team as a skilled Electrician and play a vital role in maintaining safe electrical systems across social housing properties across KT and TW postcodes, and Guildford. Job Title: Electrician - Tester Contract Type: Sub-Contracting Salary Range: £240 - £400 a day (price work) Working Locations: Guildford and KT & TW postcodes Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team, subcontracting work across South West London in a price-work position. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out testing and EICRs across various social housing properties in South West London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in social housing properties. Complete electrical inspection and testing to current regulations and industry standards. Identify, diagnose and report electrical defects and non-compliances. Ensure all testing and certification is completed accurately and submitted within required timescales. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted Requirements: Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services - Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) or equivalent 2391-52 18th Edition Your own van and tools (Calibration Certificate required) Proven experience as an Electrician within the xjnqpsq social housing sector is ideal Experience using a PDA Other certificates including COSHH, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Asbestos & GDPR (if you are unable to provide, the company will send a link to their courses) What's on Offer: Price work varying from £240 - £400 a day Sub-contracting Local work locations Immediate start available Long-term opportunity with consistent work Take the next step in your electrical career with a company that values your expertise and offers genuine long-term opportunities
