About the role
We are looking for a 4 session GP Retainer to join our friendly, supportive training practice in Dunfermline. Ideally working Fridays and one additional day, although could be split over 3 days if preferred.
We are a 7partner practice with a full MDT, including an ANP, physiotherapist, pharmacists and a Mental Health Nurse. We are proud to be a training practice, supporting GPSTs and FY2s, and hosting medical students from St Andrews and Aberdeen Universities, with opportunities to get involved in teaching or training if thats something you are interested in.
Our list size is approximately 9,500 patients, with a mixed population offering varied and interesting clinical work. We use an e-consult system to help triage appointments and try to prioritise continuity of care. All GP appointments are 15 minutes with the majority being face to face.
We place a strong emphasis on worklife balance and being supportive of one another day to day. Practice life is genuinely sociable with daily coffee breaks and regular shared lunches and cakes, which are an important part of our team culture.
We are very well located in Dunfermline, a short distance from Edinburgh, with ample on site parking, and right next to both train and bus stations.
