Export Clerk

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk to work a permanent late shift (M-F 3.30pm - Midnight) for a fast growing Freight / Courier company based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area.

Key Responsibilities

• Process export documentation, MAWB, HAWBS, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
• Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and international trade laws.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines and transport companies .
• Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
• Assist in resolving any customs-related issues.
• Work closely with internal departments to coordinate export processes efficiently.
• Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with changes in export regulations and customs requirements.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in an export role, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
• Experience using customs entry systems
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 00.00 – Can be flexible to the right candidate.
