Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant Location: Droitwich Contract: Permanent Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 DOE Start Date: Flexible Contact: [email removed] Job Description Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an accountancy practice in Droitwich for a Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The postholder will work with a unique portfolio of clients across the entertainment industry, from individuals to businesses. Key Responsibilities Preparation of year-end accounts for Sole Traders and Limited Companies, working papers and maintenance of accurate records. Reviewing client bookkeeping, VAT, self-assessment and corporate tax returns. Preparation of financial information, both monthly and annually, as well as directly liaising with clients and responding to their queries involving accounting, tax and regulatory compliance. Working with senior management to ensure deadlines are met, and supporting/assisting junior members of the team where necessary. Candidate Criteria 3 years’ experience within accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and general taxation, including year-end accounts for Sole Traders and Limited Companies. Skilled with software and systems, including Xero and Microsoft Office. Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines, as well as working within a team.
