Butler

Live in or Live out Butler / Service Stewardess, Private Estate, Surrey: up to £50k GPA plus accommodation

Our UHNW clients are seeking a Butler / Front of House professional to join their established butler team at a state-of-the-art private estate in Surrey.

The family visit the property regularly throughout the year. The estate has exceptional facilities, including a private spa, salons and formal rooms, and often hosts formal dinners and private events.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fantastic team in a high-end private household, offering a varied mix of day-to-day hospitality and formal service. Training will be provided by the Head Butler, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their skills within a UHNW private household environment.

We welcome candidates from private households, luxury yachts, chalets and high-end hospitality who bring a strong service mindset, a professional approach and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Duties:

Delivering polished front-of-house service to the family and their guests

Food and beverage service, from everyday hospitality to formal dinners, including silver service

Preparing and serving drinks, including coffee and cocktails

Formal table setting and dining room presentation

Supporting the team with entertaining and private events

Pantry organisation, stock rotation and maintaining household cleaning standards

Anticipating needs and responding promptly to guest requests

Maintaining absolute discretion and immaculate presentation at all times

The role can be live-in or live-out, with lovely staff accommodation provided close to the main estate.

Hours: Hours are longer when the family is in residence, with time in lieu given in return. When the family is away, core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Package: Up to £50k GPA, with accommodation provided
