About the role
Legal Cashier - Durham
Full-time | 35 hours per week
We are recruiting a Legal Cashier on behalf of an award-winning law firm. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive Finance team, with previous legal cashiering experience desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily legal cashiering and bookkeeping.
- Bank and Legal Aid reconciliations.
- Processing client receipts, payments and transfers.
- Client billing and supplier invoices.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and financial regulations.
- Handling client enquiries professionally.
About You:
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Client-facing experience essential; legal accounts experience and an ILFM qualification advantageous.
