About the role
We are recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a social housing maintenance team covering Hulme and surrounding areas in Manchester. This is a temp to perm position carrying out repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work within occupied and void residential properties. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in occupied and void social housing properties. Diagnose and repair leaks, burst pipes, blocked wastes and defective plumbing systems. Repair or replace taps, toilets, cisterns, sinks, baths, showers and associated fittings. Install and maintain pipework, valves, wastes and drainage components. Complete bathroom and kitchen plumbing work as part of refurbishment programmes. Trace faults and identify the most appropriate repair solution. Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing. Previous experience working within social housing. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to carry out basic multi-trade repairs. Salary & Benefits £25.43 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent is £21.82) 12 Weeks Temp – Perm Company van provided. Company tools provided. PPE supplied. Overtime available. 40 hours per week.
