FDIS Contract

The role

We are now seeking qualified Electricians to assist with delivery of our contract at RAF Wattisham, Rock Barracks & MCTC, for our FDIS Contract.  Previous experience working in MOD/Defence sites is useful but not essential. You will be covering small works, refurbishments, and projects, varying from Domestic, industrial, commercial and HMO environments.

You will need:

Experience would be essential in the following wiring types and disciplines:

• PVC Containment, all types.
• Metallic Containment, all types.
• 6242B Cabling Systems
• 6491B Cabling Systems
• Fault finding and rectification.
• You will have a good, basic understanding of site-based H&S.

• NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Installation Work or equivalent.

• City & Guilds 2382 BS7671 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations -18th Edition.
• JIB Gold Card or proof of completing apprenticeship.
• C&G 2391-52 Test and inspection
• Driving licence
