Marketing Apprentice

About Us GRB are an independent specialist recruitment business providing first class recruitment solutions to organisations seeking first class talent. Established in 1997, we have grown organically and now have several divisions covering early careers and experienced hire level roles. We operate nationally and have a turnover of over £4m and a diverse team of 40 in our central Brighton office. We are constantly expanding and are looking to fuel the company with the best talent. The Role We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated level 6 apprentice to join our Marketing Team, alongside studying for a formal BA (Hons) Digital Marketing degree at the University of Chichester. Note: This will require you to travel to Chichester for one day per week during term-time which will be reimbursed by GRB. The marketing team is vital to our business and consists of a marketing director, marketing manager, web developer, and a team of university students working remotely as affiliates and event helpers. Through their marketing strategies, they build an unrivalled pool of 100,000 new candidates a year, engaging with them to build profiles so we can place them into graduate jobs with our clients This role will support all of the GRB Group’s divisions and will allow you to understand, not only how marketing functions within a business, but how it integrates with all other departments. As an apprentice, your role could include: Supporting email outreach to new and existing users to collect job-seeking information Ensuring CVs are added and updated to candidate profiles Sending review requests and managing our online reputation Uploading jobs to university job boards and career services Assisting with creating and engaging with online content across our websites and social media platforms for all of our divisions Providing insight into youth marketing trends Assisting with innovative ideas and projects Travelling to fresher fairs and careers events with the team, giving out freebies and signing up students Helping organise travel and logistics for the team’s fair season, including train tickets, hotels, and expenses Supporting client marketing for major UK and global graduate recruiters Assisting our apprentice division with school outreach email marketing, online marketing materials About You C or above in 3 A-level subjects or equivalent A motivated individual who is eager to learn and start a career in marketing No prior work experience is necessary, but a keen interest in marketing is essential A strong communicator with good written and verbal skills Organised, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges Comfortable using technology and social media platforms Happy with UK-wide travel and overnight stays during fair season Able to commute to Brighton and to Chichester one day per week for University Why GRB?
