About the role
Our client is seeking Adult Support Workers for temporary positions within residential settings across the BN15 area in West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning difficulties and autism. The role offers flexible shift patterns including long-day shifts, night shifts, and part-time or full-time options, with an hourly rate starting at £13.68 and increasing based on the shifts you're allocated.
- Support adults with learning difficulties and autism in a residential care environment
- Flexible shift patterns: long-day, night shifts, part-time and full-time hours available
- Hourly rate from £13.68, with increases depending on shift allocation
- Proven experience working with adults with learning difficulties and autism
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centred support in a residential setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with service users
- Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including nights and long-day shifts
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing and independence of the people you support
- Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or equivalent experience
- Current DBS clearance or willingness to undergo DBS screening
- First Aid at Work or Health and Safety First Aid certification is desirable
