Are you an experienced Transport Planner? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into a Senior role?

Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning across a variety of sectors including bulk, tank & general haulage. Managing the fleet & trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial.

Working within a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly efficient operation that focuses on exceeding customer expectations whilst also gaining the opportunity for further career growth. Over time, this role will develop into a Transport/Operations Management position.

If have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff with long term career options.

The Role:

• Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
• Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
• Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
• Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained
• Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rotation

You will need:

• Transport Planning Experience
• Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
• Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
• Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
• TM CPC would be advantageous but not compulsory
