Residential Conveyancing Opportunity
An established law firm in Axminster is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Fee Earner or Property Lawyer to join its residential property team.
This opportunity is open to both qualified and non-qualified conveyancing professionals. Experienced fee earners who are currently working towards a recognised conveyancing qualification are also encouraged to apply, with support available for ongoing professional development.
The Role
You will handle your own residential property caseload, managing transactions from initial instruction through to exchange, completion and post-completion.
Your caseload will include:
- Freehold and leasehold residential sales and purchases
- Buy-to-let and investment property transactions
- Residential remortgages and refinancing
- New-build conveyancing
- Transfers of equity and changes to property ownership
- Probate property sales
- Matrimonial property transactions
- Help to Buy and Shared Ownership matters
You will liaise regularly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other legal professionals to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently and completed on time.
About You
You will have at least two years' experience in residential conveyancing and be confident managing your own caseload.
The firm will consider applications from:
- Residential Conveyancing Solicitors
- Legal Executives and CILEX Lawyers
- Licensed Conveyancers
- Qualified Conveyancers
- Residential Conveyancers
- Conveyancing Fee Earners
- Experienced non-qualified conveyancers working towards a professional qualification
Strong client care, communication and organisational skills are important, together with the ability to manage a busy residential property caseload independently.
