Job Description
About us
At Shaped By, we believe there’s an unbreakable connection between creativity and tangible business results. We exist to help B2B-focused businesses uncover their authentic truth and become the boldest versions of themselves. As an agency, we put our people first – fostering a culture of respect, flexibility, and collaboration – while focusing on product before profit to ensure every creative output meets the highest standard.
Our vision is simple yet ambitious:
“To be the global champions for creative thinking and design excellence in the B2B world.”
We’re a tight-knit team that loves to push creative boundaries in a niche but sizeable core target market: high-growth technology brands that are shaping the future of business. We do this while also championing the well-being of our people through friendly working hours, robust benefits, and genuine opportunities for professional growth.
The Role
This is a pivotal design role within the studio and you’ll be at the heart of driving and delivering creative excellence. You are a lover of design and thrive on building knockout brand experiences — with brilliant creative ideas, design and craft skills, and smart, clear, rational thinking and processes.
Whether delivering a knockout brand, print design, digital / interactive design or user experience you are confident and able to drive industry leading attention to detail while keeping one eye on the wider objective to deliver results on every aspect of the brief / project and client relationship.
You recognise opportunities within a brief to excel and push
yourself and others. You welcome new challenges and
responsibilities to reach a more successful outcome both
individually and as a team.
Required skills
What’s expected from you:
- Within the studio you are responsible for maintaining world-class creative skills and standards within your discipline and actively mentoring junior team members and engaging other team members as required
- Train and mentor junior team members to enable distribution of work, understanding of process, best practice and collaboration with other skills / disciplines
- Confident in taking ownership of, and delegating, workstreams and driving day-to-day progress in collaboration with creative leads, project leads and clients
- Confident in supporting creative and project leads in identifying needs and relevant talent for work streams at kick off stage as well as during projects
- Confident in arranging, facilitating and presenting internally and through creative client meetings, with minimal input from the senior team. Accumulating in successfully taking colleagues and clients on the project journey with you to inform, educate and excite – providing rationale and process
- Experience and confidence in delivering a project from initial concept to completed project, whether that be a digital platform, user experience, campaign activation or artworking for print etc
- You will be great at organising your workload and collaborating with others to enable us to deliver creative solutions on time and on budget
- Must be comfortable working in a demanding, fast- paced environment under tight deadlines
- Excite and inspire people around you – both colleagues
and clients – and earn their respect and confidence - Confident in your own abilities and self awareness of your
process to explore different avenues and source the best
solution for the task at hand.
Your capabilities
- Excellent full working knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,

- An indepth knowledge of what it means to be a changemaker brand to help lead the conversation for
ourselves and our clients - Able to engage with the strategic dimension of our work, get under the skin of clients’ issues and source relevant solutions
- Good communication and feedback provided to other team members to improve workflow, processes and instil
best practice across the agency - A great listener, keen to understand and meet the needs of the client and the brief
- Able to make smart connections between what’s going on in the world and what we do for our clients
- The desire and ability to push everything you do: your own creative, the boundaries of your ideas or other team
members ideas and abilities – avoiding the comfort zone - Strong, innovative, strategic and on-brand ideas, storytelling and system thinking
- Articulate, confident and assertive in presenting work
- Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships across every area of the business.
Your attitude
- Hard working, self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to throw yourself into any task
- Humble, collaborative and receptive to feedback
- Good self awareness, ability to recognise areas for improvement or advise senior team members when
support is needed. - Good understanding and curiosity about possibilities provided by technology, updates and revisions to
processes. - Relentlessly energetic and positive, up for any challenge
- Curious, always hungry to learn, always ready to share and welcome change.
- Never afraid to offer an opinion — or ask others theirs. You have a point of view, but a healthy appetite for other
perspectives, opinions and insights.
