I’m working with a highly regarded, established law firm based near Chatham, Kent, which is looking to welcome a Residential Conveyancer to its growing property team.

Whether you’re a qualified solicitor, a licensed conveyancer or an experienced conveyancing professional, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career.

You’ll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, handling a varied range of transactions, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity

You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure transactions progress smoothly and clients receive a consistently high standard of service. With support staff available and a collaborative team around you, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on delivering quality work while building strong client relationships.

We’re keen to hear from candidates who have solid, hands-on experience in residential conveyancing and are confident managing their own caseload.

You do not need to be a qualified solicitor to be considered. Qualification is desirable but not essential, and around two years’ relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) is a useful guide rather than a strict requirement. Candidates with the right practical experience, whether qualified or not, are encouraged to apply.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
• A professional, personable manner
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with case management systems and digital conveyancing platforms, including Land Registry portals, Government Gateway and AML search systems

Experience with specific case management systems is beneficial, but training can be provided where needed.
