Senior Sous Chef

for the step before Head Chef? We're on the hunt for an awesome Senior Sous
Chef to help us take off at The Boars Head!



The Boars Head is a country gastropub tucked away in the Cheshire countryside
near Nantwich – open log fires, a dog-friendly beer garden and the kind of
welcome that keeps guests coming back. Our kitchen serves hearty pub classics
made with fresh ingredients and plenty of care – like our Chicken, Gammon &
Leek Pie and Sunday roasts every week.



Here's what we offer:

• Up to £14.50 per hour (Approx. £1,860 every 4-weeks or £24,130 pa)

• Bonus of up to £2,000 a year – based on KPIs that are achievable and
impactful

• Shared Service charge (Avg. £4,990 pa)

• Total Potential Package = £31,120 per year

• Part time – 32 hours a week: solid, regular hours with a better work-life
balance

• A clear path to Head Chef



The role

As a vital piece of our kitchen leadership team, you'll work closely with your
Head Chef and General Manager – running the kitchen when your Head Chef is off,
developing the brigade and delivering food that keeps our guests coming back
for more.



What you'll be doing:

• Running the kitchen day to day and stepping up when the Head Chef is off

• Leading, training and inspiring the brigade

• Delivering our menus consistently, with meticulous attention to detail

• Supporting with ordering, stock, labour and food safety



What we're looking for:

• Experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A passion for great food and high standards

• Ambition to progress to Head Chef
