Science Teacher | DN17

Provide Education is recruiting a Science Teacher for a secondary school in the DN17 area. This temporary, long-term opportunity is ideal for a teacher who can deliver engaging Science lessons and support students across the secondary curriculum with confidence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualifications and experience.
• A strong subject knowledge across Science, with the ability to teach all three sciences.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• The ability to plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to student progress, achievement and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Plan and deliver Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach and assess students across the relevant secondary year groups.
• Adapt lessons to meet different learning abilities and needs.
• Maintain positive behaviour and an effective learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental objectives.
