Lead BIM Technician

Role: Lead BIM Technician
Location: Remote
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Are you a skilled BIM Technician looking to take the next step into a lead role? Technical Resources is recruiting on behalf of a leading security systems integrator that specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of high-end, enterprise-level security systems for blue-chip and high-security environments.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed security system models using Revit (MEP or electrical background preferred).


Maintain and develop drawings and models throughout tender, construction, and installation stages.


Analyse design alterations and mark-ups using Bluebeam.


Convert sketches and engineering principles into precise technical drawings.


Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and sales teams to ensure design accuracy.


Provide technical guidance and support to team members.


Take ownership of specific project design elements, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Experience and Certifications Required:

2–3 years’ experience in a similar BIM role within the security industry, ideally in data centre environments.


Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, DiRoots, and Excel.


Strong understanding of BIM standards, codes, and best practices.


Proven experience developing and implementing BIM workflows and strategies.


Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
