SAP Basis Consultant (Senior) - SC Clearance - 6 month contract

• Location: Bristol (Generator Building) - Hybrid (Max 2 days/week in-office) 🇬🇧
• Security Clearance: SC Cleared or SC Eligible (Active preferred) 🛡️
• Contract Duration: 6 Months initial
• Pay Rate: £349/day PAYE | £465/day Umbrella 💰
• Equivalent Grade: Career Level 8 (CL-8) 📊

Role Overview 💡

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant (Level P3 - Advanced) to lead the provisioning, landscape setup, and administration of SAP S/4HANA systems hosted on cloud infrastructure. You will manage end-to-end system builds, database performance, and critical infrastructure testing in a secure, high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities 🛠️

• System Provisioning & Landscape Setup ☁️
• Execute initial SAP S/4HANA system builds on Hyperscalers (AWS preferred).
• Manage SAP S/4HANA installations, kernel patching, and initial system configurations (clients, RFCs, transports, logical systems).
• Drive S/4HANA release upgrades, FPS, and SP stack management.
• HANA Database Administration 🗄️
• Handle initial HANA DB sizing, setup, backup, and recovery configurations.
• Conduct point-in-time recovery, log management, and routine performance housekeeping.
• Landscape Architecture & Testing ⚙️
• Design and manage multi-tier SAP environments (DEV / QAS / Pre-PRD / PRD).
• Establish SAP client setup and refresh strategies.
• Support high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) and performance testing.
